iNSTRUCTION cards!

Post by Dragon1952 »

Is there any web site that has taken up the task of scanning and offering ALL of the various Japanese arcade Instruction Cards that are so elusive nowadays?

I have seen a site or two that have some, but nothing like what would be great to have available for everyone. I know that there is value in owning the real deals, but those will not be devalued by some kind of major effort like this.

Maybe everyone can submit them to a common place from inclusion into a data base available for download.

I do have the elusive rare factory instruction card and story card for the Data East produced Darwin 4078 PCB shmup title...haven't seen it posted online for reference & posterity. They were designed for use with the wide-body older-style Japanese cocktail-based arcade cabinets, hence their big fonts printed out in large format... ^_~

I can't believe how crappy the sound is coming from the Darwin 4078 PCB -- Capcom's 1986 Hyperdyne Sidearms PCB sounds better than that in both departments of sound effects and BGM tunes-wise... ^_~
