Got a Blaze DC VGA Box and am running it on a Panasonic TX-32LXD700F, but the picture has a constant green tint that I can't get rid of, even by adjusting the individual R, G and B settings.
Should I get a different VGA box, or is this a problem of my TV?
Check the pins in the plug that goes into the back of your Dreamcast. Make sure its plugged in tight. Otherwise could be that Red pin/wire got disconnected inside somewhere (causing excessive green). BTW: I think the Blaze box (and GameWare which is identical) is the best DC-VGA adapter on the market because it has two stereo-out plugs and a volume control. Without the volume control you get highly distorted sound going into an amp.
What Dave_K said. Hook up your pc and check the colors to convince yourself it is not the tv. Set it to 640X480@60hz if you want to be 100% sure. But it's probably a pin of the dreamcast connector. Carefully check if nothing is bent on either dc or cable! good luck.
Checked it out again, and sure enough the VGA adapter has a loose contact. The picture turns normal if I wiggle the connector, unfortunately I just can't get it to stay that way. Guess I'll have to return the VGA box.
