I don't play for score, only survival.
you have posts in the high score threads for other games :s so why not post your sns2/sns3 scores since scoring is not all that far off from survival there
Twiddle wrote:there are well-founded reasons why you are objectively scum (and for those very reasons you are still allowed to post in these forums just for the comedy value obtained from such, keep it up!)
Your sense of humor is disgusted and being a person (you) who like to start spam wars clearly has a problem.
i don't think you're talking about the correct person here
Talking about bad things to other members all time is asking for bad luck on your part.
it's served me well mainly because we're all reasonable people on irc

though i'm not sure how well you would do if you constantly expect moderators to bail you out of internet arguments you always start

Never really cared. I stop caring for scores because it's just not fun. I'll only learn the scoring system if it leads to extra lives.

You did this before, got caught in your spam trap, and the thread was lock.
Twiddle wrote:though i'm not sure how well you would do if you constantly expect moderators to bail you out of internet arguments you always start
I start arguments that's true, but I want a fair argument with intelligent responses. I don't want cursing like PaCrappa. I don't want comments to cause spamwars like jews cause 9/11 (you and others). Shoesama, you, and others with your terrible and childish comments usually cause the thread to be locked.

Now, I had enough with this matter, I always offer you to PM me with your BS if you want to continue.

The thing is saying "i don't play for score" is no excuse to not post scores in the hi score section. I have many of post there(many of which are last place) but still post them for fun.

sure, obviously you going on a ridiculous tangent with no logical basis on a fred phelps thread was not the actual cause which caused people to respond to your posts in a progressively less "polite" and more argumentative manner which includes trolling, and after which everyone has taken a large shit on your fragile point standing on a nonexistant pillar, you just leave the thread, classic

same thing is happening here, if you can't actually address an argument you've started, just leave the thread, classic

Long Post.

K? Thanks.

It's still a choice.

Anyway I'm off the work, goodbye! /sarcasm.

and what school of logic did you go to where "long post" automatically meant "more correct" because in your case it's quite the opposite

Bad SFX is a CHOICE. You can usually go into the options menu and turn them off, or mute the game completely.

The main shot in Rayxanber III has about as much acoustic charm as an alarmclock. As far as I remember, you can't turn off the FX either. Very good game, otherwise. Great music, too.

Gradius: Interstellar Assault. The laser shot in that game is way too loud and quite piercing.

My lamp nodes have been hurting lately. I think it's my allergies acting up again.

It's tru that alot of Genesis titles had bad SFX, but I blame it on lazy composers. GoldenAxe has some very pleasing sounds, even if they do sound a little like farts.

With the impending risk of someone starting a "Best SFX" thread, I would like to say that Ibara has some nice ones (extend sound makes me drool.)

I can't believe I'm replying to this thread and all, but... I made a rather accurate simile about Omega Fighter (Special) a while back: it sounds like a NES in a blender. It also doesn't help that the volume in OFS is like twice as loud as the rest of the MAME romset.

AH YES. I´ve never actually played it, but from seeing replays of it the sound department is kick-ass. Especially the announcer. RRRRROKKET. EKKESETENT. BUMBAAAH! (Oh god, here I go again.) Namco really should take notes, their announcers in Ridge Racer are really...debatable.
LGB wrote:Gradius Galaxies. Oh the sound effects were badass. For one of the first GBA games, yeah!

I cannot say the same for the music, however.
I really hated the music in Castlevania HoD, which was an early Konami GBA release too (err, okay, Circle of the Moon came before that and it had great music, but somehow the programming teams didn´t talk to each other in that department). Harmony of Dissonance, more like throbbing migraine of Dissonance. Some people said it was because the graphics were so good that the music synthesis had to suffer, but I´ve read it was just that the team didn´t quite get the GBA sound programming at that time, hence the beeping.

I didn´t mind to much that the music in Gradius Galaxies was on Gameboy-beeper level, it´s more that the compositions themselves sucked, too.

I think the shmup with the worst sound effects has to be the Raiden port on the Genesis. Good game otherwise, but those sound effects leave a lot to be desired compared to the coin op original.

Music sound was bad, composition was wonderful. But I don't mind "beeping" so meh.

As was said earlier, Darius 2 Mega Drive sound effects sound awfully bad, but the music I find isn't bad at all, plus the game is killer (yeah I just bought a complete copy of Sagaia for my Genesis).

The worst part is the doo doo doo doo when you press start at the title screen, the arcade one was clean, but man oh man this one screeches the ears.

Absolutely correct.
Loved Sagaia to death, but goddamn, the weak sound hardware of the Genesis was really evident here.
