Shmup-dev doesn't work for me ever, they're blocking my ISP or something?

At the time of me posting my opening thread to this one, the downloads to the games are not working as of yet ( :( ! )... Motorherp is working on fixing that, so expect them to start working later today if all goes well (and it should, I definitely think! ;) ).

Once the operation is complete indeed, we can *finally* enjoy the many entries that this compo has to offer us!!! :D

Strange, the banlist is empty except for a bot which was added years ago. I've cleared the list so try again and let me know if it works.

Varia is excellent  Just downloaded it there, had a couple of games and was very impressed with it.

I had to google it to find it though - the download links on that site aren't working for me.

Maybe you use a wrong DNS-value.
Try setting DNS-Server in TCP/IP settings to 195.50.140.178.
This helped me when i couldnt connect to many sites last year.

Yeh I was having problems uploading the games to the compo page last night so the downloads dont work yet. You can find all the games in the forums for the time being though (have a look through the competition 2k7 round 2 finished entries forum). Hopefully I'll get all the downloads working tonight when I get out of work.

I feel that the judges were fair in their work. I think things turned out really well. As said before, this was a really good contest.
Some of the best shmups don't actually end in a vowel.
No, this game is not Space Invaders.
