I'm paying Darius Gaiden a second visit, in the hope of possibly making a superplay. :)

Every Extend Extra Extreme (what a name, lol....) on the 360.

Holy CRAP, the ADDICTION.......

Doing one of the unlimited modes (time left determined by item pickups), got 15 trillion on my first run....... which took an hour.

That hour flew by in no time.......

There should be a score page for this game on the hi-score lists, I might start one up tomorrow if there isnt one already. (I think the game just came out a few days ago)

I'm playing P-47 Aces at the moment, with the goal of at least 1cc-ing it.

I'm working on it since a good month already and, considering that I'm not improving very fast on this one and that I had more spare time this month than usual, I feel like I'm going to keep stuck with it for quite some time...

LOL.... agreed.... it's like crack

ESPgaluda 2 and Ibara.... PCBs are like crack also. So happy to have galuda 2 in my house, tate, on a RGB monitor with a saturn pad.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Yeah, they're like crack AND they'll destroy your bank account :P

There's a few PCBs I'd like to get myself (namely, Mushihime-Futari and a few others), but..... they're so damn EXPENSIVE.

I just played my first ever Cave game. It's DDP and it rocks my world.

Also played my first ever Toaplan game: Batsugun during a heightened late night session a few hours ago, and I found that the music and everything else in that game is awesome.

Edit: I forgot Hellfire is a Toaplan game...

Night Raid. OK, better than before. I will defend it (not for score playing).

Under Defeat - hate? yet I still play.

Dug out the old Sega Genesis over the weekend and got back into some ThunderForce II.

What a classic. Hearing that memorable synthesized music brought me back to 1990 all over again.

Played that recently as well...awesome game/music despite some people's dislike for the overhead stages. The 3rd stage (overhead) flying over the city was awesome to me. Perfect music that fit the stage and the 3D effect of flying around buildings (it was possible to hit some of the taller ones) was incredible eye candy at the time. On headphones or a decent home theater you could really crank this one up and be mesmerized.

Right now I have been playing Herzog Zwei Genesis. A realtime shooter/strategy hybrid.

Hyper Duel.

It was still in my Saturn from back in...May? April? Apparently, I hadn't played anything on my dusty white box since then.

So yeah, some Souky as well. Gotta give the old girl some love.

I just rediscovered shmups after 10 years - forgot about them when arcades died here. I'm from the Raiden DX days, so i'm drowning in amazing shmups to catch up on. Until now i hadn't even played 23 of your Top 25!

I'm trying to play things chronologically, e.g. get through DonPachi before playing DDP to death. But at that rate i'll never get to Cave's more recent greats...

The two i'm putting some good time into right now are DonPachi and Raiden Fighters Jet. RFJ instantly sucked me in due to my teenage Raiden roots. So much for chronology. :)

Yeah, especially Zanac X Zanac and Aleste II.

I'm playing Symphony of the Night. It's not a shooter, but at least you can get Gradius' options and shield.

Oh yes, i will definitely get to Compile at some point too. I'm not limiting myself to the "top 25" by any stretch, that was just to give people an idea of the insane amount of catching up i have to do. :D
