I loves me some Jodorowsky. And early Wire.

Ehhh...no one's using this pic right now are they? If so, sorry for biting anyone's avatar. I can always go back to the Bunuel/Dali eyeball shot. Or Chuck Heston. :D

Also, over brunch with my baby:

Tino's Breaks vol.5 - DUB

Good for you man. I rate that band highly. In fact I'd say they're the best 90s garage revival act from the USA. If you want some more American trashy garage rock that's guaranteed to put a frown on any pompous artfag's face try looking up Supercharger.

Listened to the mix once so far. Very fun. Of course I love the radio talk show bits, and the first song is the best song I've heard in a while. It's hard to mix metal with non-metal, but it works here. There's one metal song that really blew me away and I didn't recognize it. Always nice to hear some distinctive new metal.

Rob is my mentor in all things music related, so, yeah, you should listen to him before me. Probably 75% of the music I listen to is due to recommendations from Rob. Too bad I can't find Opal; now I want to hear it.

I'm not sure you'd like it. It just seemed like something Neon would like. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

But I got Unrest from you! Plus the Slits, Erase Errata, Kleenex and Liliput, etc. etc.

The last two were death metal and techno, I wasn't hugely into em. I'll check out Opal

These I think:

Suffocation - Breeding the Spawn
James Holden - The Idiots are Winning

Could be wrong. I do like to try metal every now and again, though I usually wind up liking extra-corny stuff like Iced Earth
Parliament - The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein

Heh, yep. I would've never recommended these to anyone (OK, Breeding the Spawn to a Suffocation fan). I don't listen to much electronic music. It almost always falls very short of what I'd like.
