Its assumed the power button also doubles as a reset button if just pressed, as opposed to being depressed. The door on the right side (bottom of the picture) is assumed to be a charger for the wireless controllers, but it could be some kind of Hard drive device plug in.
Its been rumoured that a microsoft person who does not want to be named has suggested this is the final cosmetic structure of the Xbox 360. Some slight adjustments to buttons or positioning may still take effect.

I am assuming by the Xbox 3, there will be no differences between it and a PC.

Eugenics: you know it's right!
i doubt if thats a genuine picture... probably a fake/photoshop effort.

Which I'm all for. It allows for much easier development, so devs don't have to spend a great deal of time learning how to navigate new hardware (remember the Saturn, or the initial batch of PS2 games?).
Unless you're talking about the physical design, which I hate. But I'll get over it... at least it's relatively inconspicuous.

Real or not, its still the final design bar a few modifications that might take place.
how do you know that?

This design is on nearly every website that is game related. There is a guy I sort of trust that is on the inside, and he seems to get info early on everything. He posted this pic, and I believe him since he has never been wrong yet.

going off the vertical picture
well if you assume the cd tray is as tall as a cd-rom tray on a computer is wide you get 10 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/8 wide at the base
It looks nice if that picture is indeed genuine. To be honest, it can't really be much worse than the over-sized brick which constitutes the original x-box!
Now Mr Gates, about the size of those controllers...

If Microsoft goes with a CD tray on this system, then they're just plain stupid, IMO. Trays always have been, and will always be, less durable then top-loading hardware.

When why does my Slim PS2 feel so damn flimsy when I switch CDs in it?

It may "feel" less solid then a tray, but I can guarantee you that that lid will last you longer then any tray on an older PS2. That's part of the reason why the PSTwo is the most durable model yet.
MS gets too much flack. They were willing to release Metal Slug 3 when Sony wasn't, and they got Street Fighter II and 3 online. They also have two of Sega's best modern games in Panzer Dragoon Orta and OutRun 2. If nothing else (assuming modern genres don't appeal to you at all), the system is worth it just for those.

Good points, but with my US PSTwo, I can play games in modern genres, AND still play a whole truckload of shmups. IMO, it's Sony that gets way too much flack; there's more variety of games available for play on the PSTwo then either the XBOX or the GameCube.
And as far as these pictures go, there's a whole slew of photos on the net of the PS3. Bottom line; until E3, I would take ANY photos of any of the next 3 consoles with a grain of salt.
