What's so special about SNS2 Special Edition?
I'm just wondering what I'm missing out on by having only the U.S. realease, Castle Shikigami 2.
Meh, Fumiko. Sure she's kinda nice-looking and all, but she's hard to use in the game. Gimme a figure of Kim dual-wielding those swords of his and I'll buy one in a heartbeat.8 1/2 wrote:For the uber shiki fan: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x- ... 0-pyf.html

I saw this at Play-Asia the other day and had the thought: "Wow, I thought I was hardcore for getting the GCN version with the cat even though I already have the XS Games version. I'm definitely not hardcore enough to spend $50 or so on that figure."8 1/2 wrote:For the uber shiki fan: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x- ... 0-pyf.html
BTW, do people typically think of SnS II as a manic? And am I right to think that SnS I is more difficult than II? SnS II doesn't really get that hard until about 3-1 or so, it seems to me. I haven't played SnS I in a while, but I remember finding it too fast-paced for me. I should go back and try it again. I remember loving the sound of the game. In general it seems more freaky and drug-induced than II, but overall much less impressive.

For some reasons (male figure won't sell in Japan...Ghegs wrote:Meh, Fumiko. Sure she's kinda nice-looking and all, but she's hard to use in the game. The Fumiko figure selling at Play-Asia is a Rasin Cast figure, not the same material used for the bonus figure. People familar with scale figure modeling would know that, rasin would hold more details and its production cost would much higher. If the figure is in 1/6 scale, not 1/8, it would be a great deal.professor ganson wrote:I saw this at Play-Asia the other day and had the thought: "Wow, I thought I was hardcore for getting the GCN version with the cat even though I already have the XS Games version. The figurine looks fine. I can see why Fumiko is an interesting character to make a figurine of, but she's incredibly hard to use in the game. I only ever would buy a figurine of a character I like playing the game with and I doubt that there are really many Fumiko fans out there.
Now, where's my Niigi figurine?

Oh, there have been some very fine male figures released. Berserk's Gatts, for example, has received many of them. Kenshin too. Of course they are the main stars of their respective franchises, but still.SAM wrote:For some reasons (male figure won't sell in Japan...) the Japanese only like to release female figures. Kim's figure might only show up when all female characters' figures have been release.
Slim chance.
But yeah, I'm not holding my breath for a Kim figure.
