I know that I don’t post on here very often, but I would be up for arranging a shmup meet in Scotland at my house . I appreciate that there are very few members here that are from Scotland & I only have 2 cabs, but if there was enough demand I could arrange a met at my house?
It’s 30 miles from Edinburgh & 20 from Glasgow. I could accommodate a few overnight in the house & plenty in the garden.
What do you think?
There are a number of peeps from Killercabs that know me well, but this is just an idea. If there was enough interest then I we could take it further?
No disrespect dude, but the chances of that happening are 1 to the highest score on Gigawing. if you know some members living within scotland, then you wanna pm they for an invite. personally if i were in the position of heading there, it would be to relax and enjoy the sites, and not stress myself for 30-40mins on a videogame.

As for your comment on visiting the sites - yes of course! We encourage that too in London Meets.

I know that it would be pointless for anyone to Travel a huge distance. It was more of an invite to anyone already in Scotland.
I don't post a hell of a lot here, but I know there are a few peeps from Scotland that also post over at Killercabs. Just thought I would put the offer out there. Spread a little love and all of that
If you ever do come up to Scotland I would recommend taking in the sites over playing video games at mine too.

i'd be up for this providing i can get a lift/public transport link... ive already seen the scottish sights too much i just want some people to play some shooters with as all my mates cant even handle looking at a cave game for more than 5 mins ! i can bring some superguns (joystick and pad ones) pcbs ,console shit etc

There’s a Train Station not too far from the house & couple of the guys over at Killer cabs are from Edinburgh so hopefully we can get something sorted.

Hadn't even noticed any other Scottish posters on the site till now. Though most likely couldn't make any kind of meet due to brokage and availability issues.

The new cab should be here next week (it's been an age to get it here) and I have the last weekend in Sept off. So if anyone faincies the last Sat in Sept?
Since there aren't that many Scots (or wanabe Scots here) it would be nice to keep it quite small for the first one I've got a weekend off in Nov too, so anyone fancies it lemmie know.

I don't mate. I think we'll have enough to keep us busy, but maybe next time, unless you are a master at it and want to school me
I'm not home the 1st weekend in Nov, but I am every week after. Lordstar will be heading up form Liverpool (as will I as I'm working there at the mo) so we'll see what suits him & take it from there.
