Right it's all done now but I will not update score from now on unless they are submitted properly. Here is the format...

Version of game (Demo/Full) - Mode/Diff - Name - Score - Stage - Character - Slow - Replay (not nessacary but please submit anyway! :) )

IN ONE LINE AND IN THAT ORDER PLEASE!

If you are not sure look at the score boards, that's how I want 'em posted minus the bit telling you what position your score is in because the message board dose that bit for me. :D

I hate to be a forum nazi or anything but basicly the format is there for a reason and it makes my job a lot easier and ulitmately (unless my e-mail gets hacked again) your score will apear on the boards a lot quicker.

Have fun guys! :)

Why haven't I posted this here yet...

Normal
Full - KennyMan666 - 1,216,374,990 - 6b - Marisa & Alice - 0,07%

Quite an old score, but still my high. I have a 1CC, but that score was lower.
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself

I'll post my scores then :)

Full (1.00d) - Lunatic - Shion - 1,313,581,880 - ALL (Final B) - Rm & Yk - 4.229% - http://www.wewerepirates.net/th8_02.rpy

Full (1.00d) - Extra - Shion - 1,111,107,810 - Extra Clear - Rm & Yk - 6.111% - http://www.wewerepirates.net/th8_09.rpy

Full (1.00d) - Normal - Shion - 1,562,597,420 - ALL (Final B) - Rm & Yk - 5.882% - http://www.wewerepirates.net/th8_01.rpy

I won't bother posting my easy and hard mode scores, as I haven't saved replays for them. I didn't really go for a high score in the scores I posted, but it seems I'm the first 1CC Lunatic here :)

For some reason I have a high slowdown in this game. I don't notice it while playing at all, and my fps never drops below 60. But for some reason it always comes out around 5% :s Very weird, as my PC is quite powerful.

I thought some of you guys might be interested: Japanese player known as AM, who's been holding the WR for IN Easy clear for almost two years, has recently broken 3 billions score for IN Extra, and is now holding the WR on it as well.
Here's the replay (go here and download the top one if you get 404). For the record, he gets nearly 105k time orbs and over 29k graze on the stage, and the powergrazing accuracy is damn impressive. His Easy WR can be found here.

Now let's hope he'll eventually break 6 billions for Lunatic clear, and that's pretty much the last big thing to have happened to IN on this level of play. :)

hello, kind of new here.
Imperishable night is by far my favorite shmup, at least of the few that I've played so far.

Full(1.00d) - Easy - zdk - 2,073,323,510 - Cb - Youmu - 0.306% - Replay

Full(1.00d) - Normal - zdk - 1,854,643,360 - Cb - Remilia & Sakuya - 0.113% - Replay

Full(1.00d) - Hard - zdk - 1,792,443,510 - Cb - Remilia & Sakuya - 0.478% - Replay

Full(1.00d) - Extra - zdk - 1,394,204,420 - C - Reimu and Yukari - 0.201% - Replay

9 last words cleared, 11 unlocked

that lunatic 1cc will come eventually!!

also, to those interested. there's a translation patch for imperishable night that was released recently, I think the story made more sense when i was making it up :P
some really funny lines in there though.

After all this time, tried to do another run, beat my previous score on the first attempt (extremely unsurprisingly). The run's still pretty bad, though, I should be able to one-life about 90% of the game consistently on this difficulty level, yet I fuck up every now and then. Also, many many missed score opportunities.

Normal:
moozooh — 1,609,269,380 — Cb — Reimu & Yukari — 0.217% (replay).

I guess I should be aiming for 2 billions. Don't even have to do any new stuff, just do the old stuff cleaner.

[EDIT]
Just decided to try easy mode as well.

Easy:
moozooh — 1,547,155,530 — Cb — Reimu & Yukari — 0.102% (replay).

This is close to what I want my normal mode clear to look like overall. :)

well, i wanted to improve it by a little more than this, but I'm giving it a rest for a while.

Full(1.00d) - Easy - zdk - 2,156,101,990 - Cb - Youmu - 0.077% - Replay

a couple things, if anyone has any suggestions as to better strategies, I'm open to them. I guess I could go watch some super-plays and yank strategies, but I'll try a bit more before that.
I'm also wondering if youmu/yuyuko might be better than youmu solo, for just a few sections.

most of the run is actually pretty decent. some notable mistakes: I botch the fairies before the stage 3 mid-boss, and lose a lot of point items before stage 4 midboss from bad positioning and not getting to the top of the screen.
main mistake is again failing two of kaguya's last spells. Its starting to irk me how often I fail those while doing pretty well for the rest of the run. this could have been a 2.3bil run... other than that, it is no miss no bomb.
also, if anyones interested, i can post descriptions of most of the strategies I use in this run (well, aside from youmu's basic strategy of shoot and slash the crap out of everything). you know, for all the many people attempting to score run easy on this game :P

its too bad i missed this game when more people were playing it.

Grats on taking the Easy board dude. Looks like you don't need any pointers from us! :D

No seriously though well done. I gotta start playing this game again really as soon as I get my ass off KUF: COD on the Xbox 360 lol.
