PCB's w/ Native Odd Sync. Rates (results in screen cut off)

Post by undamned »

I recall some discussion about certain games having weird sync. rates which causes portions of the picture to be cut off of the screen when displayed.

Do you guys recall which games have this "screen offset" problem?

From what I understand, playing Cave SH3 games via a supergun on a TV will cut the top off a bit. Never had a problem with normal arcade monitor dialing in the screen width/height on any PCB I own.

Right, the situations I recall were people playing on superguns.
