S-Video singles to PC Monitor by VGA BOX?

Post by Fighter17 »

College is coming up and I don't want to bring my shitty-ass CRT TV with me. I herd they are VGA boxes that out that support S-Video inputs (so you can have S-Video singles on the PC Monitor by VGA).

How good is S-Video on a PC monitor for starters?

What can I do to get the best picture from S-Video to the PC Monitor?

What are good VGA boxes out there?

Getting a LCD monitor is going to be a problem?

I'm planning to use the Genesis/Sega CD, Playstation, and Saturn (all by S-Video) on the PC monitor.

I would say most upscan convertors are just passable as far as quality goes. I can't recommend anything myself because I've only used the XRGB2 and I think that will most likely be out of your price range.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Well does the XRGB2 will work on LCD monitors?

It does but not always (lcd monitor or tv)
Remember to get 21pin rgb cable for every system because s-video through xrgb is not that great (but better than most of the basic vga boxes)
