HELP ME please - need list of beatable shmups

Hi guys I only played a handful of shmups and i really need you guys to be kind enough to provide me a list of all ***BEATABLE*** shmups for nes, snes, game boy, game boy color(black cartridge so I can play it on super gameboy), master system, genesis and sega cd.. I bought solar striker to play on my super game boy after reading a positive online review, but it was impossible to get past the first few levels and the review made NO MENTION of the impossible difficulty level. Please guys help me out - THANX!

Reviews make no mention of impossible difficulty because there isn't any. Solar Striker is far from impossible and definitely beatable. It's generally considered one of the easier shmups out there. As with all games, it takes practice to get better.
