At least you can only lose one stage at a time here. And this game is so good. Guwange, less good.Davey wrote: There's going to be a lot of swearing and restarting this week. Just like the last week of last year's STGT.
STGT 2k7- Week #5 GigaWing
But your multiplier stays with you even after the stage ends. So screwing up early would reduce your multiplier for the rest of the game, yes? Or is this insignificant once you become a competent player (something I won't achieve before the end of the week)?Rob wrote:At least you can only lose one stage at a time here. I mean Guwange will take the entire multiplier away while in Giga Wing only a single stage will be chipped away. It does damage for the entire game, but if you are a beginner or intermediate player you might only have to focus on doing well on the first few stages or plan to make it back on four and five. It's only a problem if you have all of the stages down. I wouldn't have a chance of beating my old high school if I botched level 2, but shouldn't be much of a worry with finishing this week at a decent 10-20,000,000,000,000.Davey wrote: But your multiplier stays with you even after the stage ends. I thought I was rubbish at scoring at this game, but looking at the average of the posts so far, I am not doing that bad.
I don't know my exactly score (I noted at home, but I was too tired to come here and post it), but I reached stage 5 with an red 8 score. And this was with just a few hours of practice. When the weekend reaches and I can give this some proper time. WHOOOSH, expect a 50 trillion score for me.
Yeah, surely
