Me versus Pulp Fiction's swears-per-minute count: 2-0

I make my living room NC-17.

Might I also add that shmups really seem to bring out my patriotism; in no other situation would I use such slurs as "bloody sodding ship".

Just envisage Richard E. Grant playing shmups. That's me right there.

Same here. I was done with Twinbee after getting 3 million, but when you edged me out by 1K points or what ever, I put in extra time just to beat you. While some may consider it good team motivation, I kinda felt like a dick.

Don't worry guys. I don't mind - I am likely the worst player on the team score wise anyhow

Last week was a horrible week for games playing for me. I don't get much done

My goal are to enter name on high score screen at top spot. So far I am:

Hi score: 0 -- Sonic R: 2

We'll end up making fun of you anyway... it's not like you'll have had anything to do with your team's success. (Granted, neither will I.)

Yeah, beating somebody by a marginal amount isn't as satisfying as one might think. I think it's because you know they could probably return the favor given a little more time. But hey, it's good for the team, and since we don't have any top tier players, intrateam competition is a good thing (unless we start being dicks and keep info from each other ;))

I think they did pretty well last year, but I'm too lazy to look up the results.

We were 4th place, behind Namako Team, Turbo Team and Team Sweden. We were at the top of the 2nd tier.

Of course, oldschoolers can't count with me anymore, so they don't stand a chance.

I look at them as our nemesis, just because my team has 2 ex-oldschoolers :)

Jeez. Well then you could at least not handicap yourself. Autofire went a long way for VP1 :)

Ayanami 2 - Rest of GLA 0

GLA 0 - Oldschoolers 2

Only reason I took VP1 was because Davey was in Vegas, Sonic R's computer crashed, Zero and Kcctzj don't have much time to play and Tempest hated the game. Victory is victory though. VP1 really kicked my ass.

Ayanami 3 - Rest of GLA 1

Davey kicked my ass in Omega Fighter.

I found a new nemesis, and that nemesis is the Underdogs!

GLA 2 - Underdogs 2

I gave up on the Oldschoolers.

Pele Shooting Team 2 x 1 Oldschoolers.

This was actually in the last week, but I forgot to update. We drawn this week (105 x 105), so I won't count any points this week. :)

Ok I think I've given Kennyman666 enough shit (is that possible?), so I think I'll step up the stakes a bit with something super obvious.

Team SDA vs. Team Sweden

2 (VP1, OFS) - 2 (Twin Bee, Darius Gaiden)

We'll probably lose since most of success has been banking on easy, broken games, and manic shmups require a little more not sucking than what we're used to.

And Kennyman666, bsidwell is right, you'll never hear the end of it no matter what you do because I'm petty

Too true, although I actually had a lot of fun playing [s]Every Extend[/s] Omega Fighter Special Bus.
Macaw wrote:Cyber City Team vs having to play shooting games instead of beat 'em ups.
We would play beat 'em ups too. Perhaps our teams could be like blood brothers. 8)

Blood Brothers is an awesome Cabal-style game.

And yeah, I could totally get on the beat 'em up bandwagon. Especially if it's AvsP, Battle Circuit, or DDSOM.

don't want no nemesis, but allies who vote for the same games. :)
Btw, ever tried the turbo team strategy? :?: 8)

Then you should have voted for Giga Wing :(

The Turbo Team strategy? Does that involve acting like you're too cool and detached to play any of the games, so only one of the players gets a high score while the rest make excuses?

These games were too mediocre to play for more than an hour. I learned my lesson, which is to not sign up for STGTs.
