HORI Compact Joystick ?

I was looking for an arcade stick that my friends can use when we play shoot'em ups together and stumbled upon this stick here:

It's rather small and looks a bit cheap to me, but one of my trusted retailer could get me a brand new one for about 30$\€
What do you think?

Hmm, when I was in Japan last year I stumbled across the exact same sticks. At first I was tempted to get one but ultimately decided not too, mainly because I doubt it's durability. Sure, it's very convenient to bring and has the size of almost a gaming pad. Also, I don't think it's very comfortable to use. But, that's just me.
