I would have bet my life savings on you being the one to actually say this though.

I was the initial person to say "WTF" to one game getting pulled from 2nd place week b/c we'd be playing something too similar in week 5, and the same game being in the choices twice for that week. The not-so-big-shocker is that there's nothing even close to Progear in this week. Not worth a WTF, but it is worth pointing out.

The best part is, maybe DJI was going to pick ESP Ra.De. but he didn't want you complaining about two Cave games for the vote split.

Someone has to use common sense here. Might as well be me. Vote splitting is fucking stupid. The idea is playing something everyone wants to play... that's why we vote, no? If there's a game is popular enough to cause a landslide, what's what should be played.

Finally: LOL @ Gunnail.

Rank is something you're going to have to deal with no matter which game you choose, ED-057. Manic week's gonne be bullet-filled regardless I'm afraid.

I've never played Dangun Feveron, and I've never even heard of GunNail. Strikers 1945 II is a fun game, but the idea of having to spend a week trying to pick up every medal within a small split-second window to make my score even worth posting doesn't appeal to me right now. Battle Garegga's a great game, and Giga Wing's a lot of fun too.

I'm torn between BG and GW. I own both, so I'll decide after I've played them a bit later today.

This ain't no vote by the way.

Wow, I always thought I liked manic shmups. Now, when looking at this poll, I realize how much I dislike them, especially the famous ones. Battle Garegga is awful for a one-week competition, as has been pointed out. Dangun and Gigawing are actually very appropriate. Too bad I hate them both. That leaves Gunnail and Strikers. I'd love to try out Gunnail, as I always enjoyed playing games I've never heard of before for STGT, but obviously, it doesn't stand a chance. That leaves

Strikers 1945 II.

THIS IS A NOTE, erm ..i mean, A VOTE.

(Actually, I always wanted an excuse for playing more Strikers II. I haven't spent nearly enough time with it, as I got it at a point when I was a bit burned out on Psikyo.)
