Star Wars III Pics Link...& Spoilers!

Post by ST Dragon »

Warning! A lot of Spoiler Pics!

http://right-thoughts.us/library/starwars3/

I loved Episode II. A lot of dramatic moments, awesome graphics & it takes place in multiple planets like the old Star Wars films.

I hope Part III will be just as good.

My work proxy filter didn't like that link for some reason. Sheesh.

Anyhow, I liked Episode II as well, but the "romance" scenes seemed wooden and unbelievable. I was sold on Anakin's dark side, but not his romantic side. Poor dialogue in those scenes. Anyhow, this new movie looks to be pretty awesome.

Star Wars in general is bunk in my opinion. Space Balls, now that's a classic! (joking about its classic status, not the fact that i like it more. Mel Brooks has done plenty of things that far outclass it)
I have no sig whatsoever.

This movie's going to be a piece of shit, you know I don't have to explain why.

I didn't like episode 1+2 either, I'm not a big fan of the original movies, I wonder what Star Wars would have been with Al Pacino playing Han Solo :P
(he was offered the role but turned it down).

Of course it will. But I will still see it opening day. I will probably be pissed off the whole rest of the day. Even if I see it blacked-out drunk. The awfullness will somehow penetrate my alcohol-fueled reality shield.

So WHY would I subject myself to the crap? I guess the "idea" of star wars transcends the movies. It's just so embedded into geek culture at this point. like typing in caps, and saying PWN3D. Or maybe not.

Anyone played Lego Star Wars yet? It takes you through the whole Ep. III storyline and it looks to be a SLOOOOOOW ride. Even cut up into six tiny segments I was screaming for it to be over by the end. And don't expect much Vader action. It wouldn't seem that he really comes into being until the very, very end.

Actually, I'm pretty much with you on your sentiments - although I'm really considering not going. Because if I go no matter how good or bad it is, then I've affirmed that Star Wars is a cash machine and Lucas doesn't need to do anything better...

You're kidding, right? They spoiled the entire thing already? I've been making efforts to avoid any kind of spoiling so that I *might* enjoy the movie more when I see it. Heck, the way Lucas is revealing things, it's as if the months leading up to the movie are bigger than the movie itself. I don't get it - fans spend tens or hundreds of hours to learn the latest news and leaks over a movie that itself lasts 2 hours - if you just saved your time and watched the movie 4 times when it came out, you'd know more about the movie than you would have spending those dozen+ hours before it released.

Anyone hears about the fans already waiting outside the Chinese theater in LA? They were told that the film won't premiere there, but they don't believe it(because same thing happened in the past - saying the film won't premiere there, but it actually did) and they refused to leave and give up their spots. Time will tell...

I was never into the new trilogy. I watched part I a couple months after its release, and I still haven't watch II.

I thought she was the worst part. Especially in the midriff tear-away part in the gladiatoral arena in Ep. 2.

I'm all about courtesy flesh in movies, but somehow that was just obnoxious.

keep in mind i don't give a rat's ass about star wars so any interest i have in the series is in an "eye-candy" capacity only. and even then its mostly the women, and even then its only Natalie Portman. :)

Heh, wasn't planning on doing this, but the novelization was on display at the local bookstore and I read the entire thing in-store. The plot does kind of make sense, if you ignore one big aspect, and it looks like how good the movie will be will depend on how good the action is.
