What are the hot freeware shmups now?

Post by TVG »

I've been out of the loop for a looong while and i'm searching for a few nice games to play on my new godly (ok not really) computer.

I tried getting into Radio Zonde again but it seems i just don't have the patience for that anymore, it's just too confusing now.

I found BWR because of the highscores topic and it's really nice, any others? don't quite feel like trying the whole postman's library like i used to (if it still exists).

Thanks in advance.

I recently enjoyed Clean Asia, Proto Type II, Varia, Akuchizoku. Shmup dev competition round 2 just finished which means lots of nice stuff.

OOOOkay, i can't seem to remember how to download stuff from vector links. Anyone care to help a little? Do you need to signup now? It takes me to a login page.

EDIT: Nevermind, i figured it out. Don't remember where i clicked but...

Vector links? I think the indygamer blogspot has a "direct download" with every title. The shmup-dev forum requires registration.
