Shocky - Oldschoolers - 3,804,280 - 1-4 (MAME)
Gave this a couple of go's. I'm still in learning phase, so this should improve considerably IF I have any more time this week, schedule is looking like murder again
(
Actually all this chaos in the high scores and voting threads caused me to become so mixed up that I started playing the wrong game at first (Thunder Dragon 2)!

Before Pope John Paul died he decreed that Aliens were also GOD's creatures and we should treat them with respect.

I might just a well admit that my top score so far is only about 520K something...
I really don´t like this game.
All nice up until stage 3, and the game comes way too hard for me all of a sudden.
The nice music on the score entry screen should be an incentive to try and do a bit better though.

I just discovered something new about this game: if you hold start in the screen before the level starts (the one with the big ship showing which part you have to destroy) you can skip to the next level. I really hope this isn't allowed, because you could play normally until stage 1-4 or 1-5, and then skip to level 2-1, which is easier then 1-6, 1-7 and 1-8...
I think we should cancel this week and play progear =P

They have posted in the future…The Coop wrote:What the hell just happened? I quoted Shatterhand, and my new post went right under the post I quoted.
IT'S A SIGN!
Edit: Just so people don't thing I'm on drugs, I made this post well after shoe-sama's "why does this game suck so much?" post. Seems something's amiss with the forum clock.
But that means I'm in the past. I have to get back to the future!Sonic R wrote:They have posted in the future…The Coop wrote:What the hell just happened? I quoted Shatterhand, and my new post went right under the post I quoted.

Pirate1019 - Team Loser - 1,564,720 - Stage 3

Just began playing his today. Got this score after about 4 credits. I'll put forth a little more effort tomorrow. It's late.
The game is better then I thought it would be. Maybe I was right not to vote this week and leave the choice to the forum at large.

Maybe the special setting is whats causing the retardation.Shatterhand wrote:Freezes, level skipping, level warping, death by invisible bullets, shoddy hit detection, and now time warps on this thread.
I think it indeed is emulation issues. I used to play the normal version on Raine, I had finished it, and I haven't seen any bugs before.

Hey DJI, I ask that you please remove my score, when you get a chance. I've gotten my score up in the 4 mil range now, but I just discovered I have an ear infection and may have to skip this week once again due to dizziness. Maybe I'll pull it together, but in any case I don't want my current, lame score there.
The ear infection made being at the Indians vs. Yankees game a lot of fun. It was so freaking loud. At least we won!
