Oh, hello.
http://inhgroup.com/item/love2007/
At least we now know they aren't completely asleep on the shmup-related releases front. Even if it's not a replay DVD.
EDIT: Was released earlier this month. Sorry if it's already been covered in a previous thread.

For anyone willing to admit they're a diehard Triangle Service Fan, Mikado in Shinjuku has posters & t-shirts (pic of the posters included) which are exclusive to that game center. They're obviously from the same release as the soundtrack.

I think Kiken mentioned it was due to release in some other thread, but it can't hurt to point it out again. I already had preordered the Shooting Love 2007 soundtrack CD and got it this week. It's a fine release, IMO. It contains the full OSTs for both Exzeal and Shmups Skill Test plus 4 bonus tracks, which are one remix of a Shmups Skill Test track, two tracks from the Shooting Proficiency Measurement mini-game on the PS2 version of Trizeal and the version of Trizeal's stage 4 music ("永遠のTraveler") with added vocals from AvantGirl, which previously was only available on the preorder bonus CD from the DC release of Trizeal. Interestingly, the vocal track also seems to be featured (in remixed form) as a regular level BGM in Exzeal.Icarus wrote:Was released earlier this month. The music is quite interesting. I like it a lot. The soundtrack reminds me quite a bit of ZanacNeo's, especially the bits from Shmups Skill Test, but a few tracks also got a slight Zuntata vibe.
I'm really pleasantly surprised, especially since the last soundtrack I bought (Mushihimesama-Futari) felt like a very disappointing follow-up to its great predecessor.
Actually, I'd love to have one of those black Shooting Love posters.GaijinPunch wrote:For anyone willing to admit they're a diehard Triangle Service Fan, Mikado in Shinjuku has posters & t-shirts (pic of the posters included) which are exclusive to that game center. i actually have such a shooting love shirt, the poster & shirt are released by IHN along side their trizeal / xii stag appreciate dvd. the shirt is of a really fine quallity but even their large is rather small so it's not a good shirt for big people....GaijinPunch wrote:For anyone willing to admit they're a diehard Triangle Service Fan, Mikado in Shinjuku has posters & t-shirts (pic of the posters included) which are exclusive to that game center. come to think of it, think the poster was also included in some of the pre-orders of trizeal on the dc.
you can easily make your own. the shooting love logo's/posters (both horizontal & vertical) are included on the trizeal / xii stag appreciate dvd in jpeg. you can quite easily resize it and let it be printed out on a large format at your local copyshop or photoprinter. just make sure to do some small resize damage control on the picture in photoshop or so.Herr Schatten wrote:Actually, I'd love to have one of those black Shooting Love posters.
warning: a huge warning sign is approaching fast!

I know how you feel, but I've come to like the Futari ost quite a bit as well.I'm really pleasantly surprised, especially since the last soundtrack I bought (Mushihimesama-Futari) felt like a very disappointing follow-up to its great predecessor.
Is anyone else more concerned about the music in Deathsmiles than the actual game?

Mikado has a showcase devoted to INH products. I wonder if they own Mikado.i actually have such a shooting love shirt, the poster & shirt are released by IHN along side their trizeal / xii stag appreciate dvd. the shirt is of a really fine quallity but even their large is rather small so it's not a good shirt for big people....

I'm pretty sure it's the same as the Trizeal Bonus Tracks version, if anything it was rearranged.Herr Schatten wrote:...and the version of Trizeal's stage 4 music ("永遠のTraveler") with added vocals from AvantGirl, which previously was only available on the preorder bonus CD from the DC release of Trizeal. Come to think of it, isn't that the first full-vocal BGM track for a shmup?
NOTE: I'm not counting VISIONNERZ from Darius Gaiden, since any vocals used there were sampled.

I just got this the other day as well. Love-ing it.
If you've heard the composer's previous work you know what to expect (also, samples available on INH's page). Naoto (G-Stream, XIISTAG, Trizeal) has gone a little more progressive 'club' style this time, while still retaining his character. WASi303 did a few tracks chiptune style, Go Sato did one track called 'tank'-- very Raiden coo.
There are two nice bonus videos on the disc. One is T.Fujino (Triangle prez) on a run through Shmups Skill Test (1/2 screen game, 1/2 on side of cabinet directed at Fujino), INH dudes heckling in the background (danmaku test..lol). The other a Karaoke clip for Traveler, Exzeal game video in background.. end part showing a bit of Mikado arcade, 1983 game shop, and Fujino chilling on his apartment balcony.
