Obviously, the Good Reverand Stuart Campbell has produced some quality fodder for this thread in the past, but I just can't help myself from trawling his posts during boredom weeks like Viper Phase 1.
Here's some classics;
Rev. Stuart Campbell wrote;
if i pressed a needle against your head will it pop

If you pressed anything against my head you'd get your face smashed in.
No no it gets better
Rev. Stuart Campbell wrote;
So go fuck yourself, cockwipe.
You know where you can shove your light warning, don't you?
But seriously now, I do like his "Death to Nerds" article on his site. An article on MAME's Mission Statement which rails against MAMEDEV and their nonsensical adhesion to;
"MAME is a historical artefact, not a games machine."
I agree with the Good Reverand. Games are to be played and not horded.

I've got to say that his idea that RPG's and sports sims are catering to nerds is bizarre. Seems to me that RPG's and sports sims are popular because that's what most players want. Nerds tend to fancy themselves connoiseurs and want obscure imports and hard action games and stuff.

I still feel ashamed that his incursion here was brought by myself. I hope I have never to deal with him again anywhere.

Loving those Stuart Campbell threads, v funny. Encountered him in other forums. Tends to come across as quite intelligent with good point of view, but just can't seem to stop himself from pissing everyone off. :lol: :lol:

just read stuart's dodonpachi dai-ou-jou review....

best bit has gotta be:

"Big chains are the key to big points - good chaining can boost a beginner's Stage 1 score from 1.6 million to 2.4 million, for example."

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

and his gradius v review, i love how almost all the screenshots are taken from the first two levels :oops: if you look at the last digit on his gradius v and ddp doj screenshots, you can see how many extra credits he used to reach that point in the game.

Replace: "can't seem to stop from embarrassing himself, thoroughly."

When he says "highest score of any score at all" he means in terms of shmups with limited levels. You could get more than that in Super Mario World if you spam the One-Up system of some stages.
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

...and he's still only 1/3 of the way to Robs score on Stage 3. ...much less the Stage 7 score.

I think I'm not understanding something here. Super Mario World has a counter stop at 9,999,990 pts.

This guy is a lunatic with a seriously inflated ego. However, I still find his site quite entertaining from time to time, especially the mentioned article. I dunno. Maybe he was drunk. Or maybe he is just in the business for too long. I appreciate insane people from time to time.

My thread was a question on how to make a transparent background. Cecil's is akin to asking which lipstick he should wear. :P

Ahaha, i remember now. I wonder what i did to this guy? He actually went through the trouble to create an account on yahoo chat using photos of me from a completely different site a couple years ago.

Whatever it was you must have been burning deep inside this whole time, just waiting for your chance to reveal your true identity! First circuitface and then the WORLD ahahaha!!!

I must have irked Ceph at some point about 2 years ago, so sadly he used google or something to find a profile i had on another site where he took photographs from my gallery and used them to create a mock profile on yahoo chat under the name of 'Cecil'. Projecting his own fears at others, he tried to offend me by putting a bunch of homosexual stuff on the fake profile. I seriously have no idea what set him on that path, or why he even remembers it after so long.

Dude, calm down. That wasn't me. I just happen to have a good memory and thought it was funny at the time (when you posted about it here), that's why I remembered "Cecil". :D And you didn't do anything to irk me - trust me, I would have let you know.

PS.
On second thought, I'm a little surprised that you'd think I would resort to that sort of stuff. Do I really come across as that immature? :(

Most of his scores are hilariously low.

Ohzorz. It sure seemed odd when i read 'Cecil' and remembered that. You know, if i was to accuse someone of being homosexual i'd probably choose a name like 'Ian' or 'Marco'. Cecil just reminds me of some cartoon turtle. :)

... and no offense but the immaturity level on this board has greatly increased over time. I wouldn't put it past a good handful of posters to sink that low. The existence of this thread is a good example. If anyone posts anything that can possibly be ridiculed it's pretty guaranteed that it will be.
