Saturn shmup price list?
Hey guys, i was just wondering if there was any sort of rough price guide estimate of what saturn shmups were worth floating around on the net? I realise that such a list would be near impossible to keep up to date etc but was just wanting a rough guide. I recently got a bunch of games in a lot i purchased and was going to sell some of the ones i didn't want. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. Cheers

Thanks for the replies, radiant silvergun is about the only one i know roughly what it sells for....Thanks for that shinsage the titles are as follows. I saw a batsugun sell for around 75 GBP last week on ebay.....
Are they really worth that much???? I got 2 of that game in the lot i purchased, no spine cards with them though. That's really what triggered me to ask the question.......
Donpachi
Dodonpachi
Shienryu
Batsugun
Wingarms
Fantasy Zone
Sonic Wings Special
Layer Section
Radiant Silvergun
Gradius Deluxe Pack
Darius Gaiden
Life force Deluxe Pack
Thunderforce Gold Pack 1
Thunderforce Gold Pack 2
Battle Garegga
Gunbird
Guardian Force
Capcom Generation 1942 1943 1943?
Thunder Force V
There's two other titles in the lot that i don't know what they are as they have no english on them and i don't know what games they are...and it doesnt help that i don't have a jap saturn to test at the moment either.
It's the one at the bottom left of that picture and the top right. Those two games.

If anyone can identify those ones to that would be great. Anything i end up selling will go to ebay anyways but yeah. Thanks peoples!

Radiant Silvergun and Blast Wind are the only games that are really expensive....that and most Neo-Geo AES Carts.
Viewpoint, Pulstar, Blazing Star, Zed Blade (conversions) normally command $100 or better.
The last AES copy of Last Hope recently sold for over $1000 on ebay.
Good grief.
(edit: Oops...I mentioned games that weren't Saturn.) [/duh]

Blast Wind may lack the difficulty and the complex score systems of the general tastes of these boards, but I am find enjoyment when I play it as well as Technosoft other games.
Hyper Duel is probably most challenging Technosoft shooting game. (LOL don't move to increase score)
I think Technosoft games all have awesome soundtrack

Indeed, there's also this magical thing called "Difficulty settings". They work wonders when you want a challenge.Arvandor wrote:I've heard if you play as the 2P ship it's a lot harder. Try starting the game with the controller plugged into port 2 and let us know what happens =)
At any rate, Blast Wind is probably my most played shmup ever. Probably my true favorite shmup ever. I just don't like the idea of taking that title away from Radiant Silvergun. :p

Haha, how much does it cost to get a Silvergun spine these days?GaijinPunch wrote:Once the TV gets off it's side, Blast Wind is going in!
Note that spinecards will add quite a bit for the pricier titles. About $30 for RS.

And Hyper Duel too.

This man speaks the truth!
That fellow on Yahoo is selling spines for Saturn games seperately (I hopped at the chance to grab a few cheapies) and some were ridiculous. I think Taromaru was 6500yen alone.
