As far as Im concerned, the more shmup titles that show up on XBLA, the better.

Im always happy to hear of new ones appearing on there.

I'll be buying this when it comes out, yes.

EDIT: had a look at the 3 videos..... yes, this looks good.

Though, is it just me, or do not many things fire at the player during those vids?

And I wonder how the scoring and mechanics are gonna work..... hard to tell everything that's goin on just from those vids.

And then while I was on that site, I heard about Shikigami 3 also coming to that system, and OMIGOD need that too.....

lawnspic, it's developed by Natsume and published by Hudson Soft, both companies I respect tremendously.

I'm really glad someone made a thread, because all the western publications only highlighted Ikaruga and Rez from that announcement. I love both those games, but I've played them both to death. I'm more excited for this game, E4 (Every Extend), and Schizoid.

I'm a very happy 360 owner. Senko no Ronde was already worth it to me if nothing else. And my favorite company is developing for the system. (You could maybe figure out who from my avatar perhaps.)

Aye, Senko no Ronde what what originally caused me to purchase a 360 as well.

And I too am veeeeeeery pleased with the thing. Aside from Senko no Ronde (which is crazy awesome), I also have Burnout (LOVE) and have just started on Crackdown (boy is that a fun one). And Im very happy with the Arcade lineup they have going right now.

And did I mention that Geometry Wars is awesome too? Cause it is.

I'm such a sucker for the Jetpack Trilogy and other games like this. Since it's Natsume, I wonder if they're going to include any lil' homages towards Final Mission (aka. S.C.A.T/Action in New York).

First game for 360 that actually interests me, heh.

From the videos I saw the gameplay seems to be a modernized Forgotten Worlds. I dont have XBOXLIVE but might jump into it when this comes out. I also want that Prince of Persia remake.

Yeah....i don't know what part Hudson play in the game but i do know that Natsume are notorious for game bugs - some deliberate though.

Wouldn't suprise me if the NES version of SCAT is hidden within the bowels of the erm....game.

LOL. My thoughts exactly. And what's the deal with the guy just floating around the screen, keeping his arms at his sides while some big watergun dangerously close to his crotch is hosing down things? Lame.

Because its on the 360.

At any rate, just watched the videos, it looks fairly decent. Reminds me of old school shmuppin' (for obvious reasons probably), so I'm definitely looking forward to it.
