Need to seal a cracked monitor

I found out there's 3 cracks on the plastic enclosure of my monitor. Is there an effective way to seal them? I assume I would need some kind of strong adhesive, right? The only thing I can think of is crazy glue, but I doubt that would be enough.

Never heard of the stuff. Is there a specific kind I should use? One of the cracks has a narrow gap needs to be filled.

A really strong adhesive...we use it to bed rifle actions. There are tons of variations out there. You'll have to mix the two compounds together. Just throwing it out there, not even sure if it's what you'll need. It is, however, some of the strongest shit you can get.

I can't seem find it at any local hardware store, but thanks. I did find the epoxy glue being sold at Fry's Electronics. I was thinking of trying this since it says "Use to fill gaps or replace broken sections." Is this the right stuff? It has like two bottles.

They have it at Home Depot or Lowes i believe. I think it really good because it expands in the joint. You may also try a commercial product called PL

That's the stuff...though it's quite comman as already pointed out and there are tons of variations. If you're concerned about strength, make sure to pick up some with a relatively long set-up time. They make 20 minute epoxy, but that's generally not as strong as 12 or 24 hour epoxy.

I bought the 5-hour epoxy glue at Fry's Electronics last week for $13. You're right, I had to mix 2 compounds together and applied it on the 3 cracks on my monitor. One of the cracks has a 2mm gap but the glue did good job at filling the hole. Overall I'm impressed at the results, the glue (when dry) turned into super hard plastic. So far the enclosure hasn't collapsed on me while standing vertical.
