I'm going with a wait-and-see approach to gimmicky games

I saw nothing in the forums, alright? Go ahead and lock this thread before I get crucified again.

I don't see any mention of stylus shooting, the DS has all the buttons to control the same as previous entries, and there's nothing gimmicky about it considering it's the second entry in the series (third if you count the N64 and DC games as separate) and appears to stick very close to the format set.

As far as Treasure games go, I'd consider Ikaruga infinitely more gimmicky than Bangioh, and that game's a masterpiece.
