First rule when cosplayers dance is to take aload of crack and alcohol before performing . Obviously that is the case in that video .

This is the same guy that wore a pink tutu on stage last year for the release of Muchi Pork and did the same kind of dance. It really looks like he is having a good time.

Is he strickly a dancer for Cave , a developer or something else ? After the rousing success of Muchi Pork might aswell let him dance again for Death Smiles !

I thought he was talking about the three dudes in black who were performing some kind of rap song?? Those guys sucked.

According to Alpha-station, this game will hit Japanese arcades on October 17th:

http://www.alpha-st.co.jp/index2.html

I guess they'll be skipping the location tests this time? Or has there been some announcement about a location test? Less than a month to go until it hits the arcades.

Yeah, the quality of the cosplay always reflects how good or bad the game comes out.
It's bad for the image of the game. Hopefully ppl who saw this will still try the actual game.

Then all of their last 5 games have had terrible images. The people who buy these games don't give a fuck about the cosplay. If they're going to plop down 2 G's, they're going to do a bit more research.

Mmm... yes...
Because the majority of people who might be interested in buying/playing this game are really going to be influenced by some crappy cosplay. But then again, this forum seems to be influenced by promotional and poster artwork as well, and seem to run scared from a game featuring animeish characters with little clothing on.

Note to self: E-mail Cave, suggesting the next game after Death Smiles to be released with a large JPN B1-sized blank poster sheet.

I think alot of people dont realize that these games are tools to make money, just like any other piece of equipment for a business. I comes as no shock as to the high price. In Japanese arcades i can see it, but for a private collector here in the states its insane. I have played alot of games that are very good for the tune of 49.99 and still got bored. So that 2 grand better be worth it. My 2 cents, oh well. But i would love to play the hell out of that game though

If you wait until the price drops (which is guaranteed) and sell after a few months, it's not that bad. Sure, you'll lose a couple of hundred bucks, but hey, it's not a consumer product.

well ofcorse the artstyle is influential, arcadekits come with huge posters and flyers that if you paid 2 grand for it youd like to be able to show off or atleast look at without grinning.

i dont care if cave joke around a little and have some dude dance around in their booth, nor do i care if they have children in lingerie there but i sure as hell wouldnt want em on the posters of my walls!?

i definetly find hentai-style artwork to be rather tasteless (believe it or not), even more so if it is "cute".

Is that cosplay girl really, really pissed that Gaijin Punch took a picture of her? It looks like she could turn around and kick him in the nuts.

She didn't even notice. She was just turning to find someone to pass a flyer out to. I don't she'd give a shit either way. It's the first time I've seen a "no pictures" sign up at a Cave booth. For Pink Sweets, Galuda 2, etc., the Cosplayers would actualy pose. It might've been a space restriction thing. There was far less breathing room than usual.
