PCB Price Guide.

Post by RaidenIII »

I'm wondering, is there a "rough" price guide on the internet for PCB prices? covering late 80's early 90's? Thank you :)

No. And be glad there isn't, because that means you can get stuff cheaply every now and then.

If you're looking for an estimate on what you can expect to pay for (or sell) a specific board, post that here and someone will probably help you out. There is no price guide out there, but people often post topics asking for the current price range of a specific board, and one of the knowledgeable folks here usually supplies the info. Most games not made by Cave are pretty cheap.

If you can read Japanese you can try the Akihabara PCB shops that post their lists, and of course, Yahoo Japan.

Yeah, be glad there are no authoritative guides. I've gotten multiple good PCB's off of ebay for $10ish. Yeah, you'd be paying 10 times that to some shops. Not that it was a great game, but I got Konami's Martial Masters for $12 shipped once! :D

Some great deals can be had for mere pennies on the dollar...for example, on eBay a few years back, I won an auction for SPI cart of Viper Phase 1 - U.S.A. for a mere $20.00 USD. I couldn't believe it but it usually goes for $125.00-$150.00 with the appropiate country region SPI mobo, of course... ^_~
