I don't agree with this. The recent handhelds are fully capable of excellent arcade ports (though non-3D and less recent with the DS), especially the PSP. You are stuck with the built in controller, but the original DS's pad is fine, the PSP can be modded, and the slim PSP has a better pad. The DS lite pad varies, but the one I tried did diagonals fine.

-Game must be playable in MAME
-When MAME used, auto-fire must be crippled to whatever the worst port version is?

But since the majority of the comunity seems not that much concerned about this issue. I think we can also use a free adjustable fire rate, unless it totally breaks the game. I don't think it does that in Darius Gaiden, but if I am mistaken, please say so. That we can add a fire rate restriction.

I just went with the World version, and it FEELS just like what I remember of my Saturn version (only about 10x easier now that I have auto-fire).
