Along with S1945, S1945II and Sengoku Blade.
Besides, it isn't up to me what the rest of my team votes. Democratic process, team discussion, and all that.
The only thing important to me during STGT is ensuring my playing performance and assistance to the team is 110%.

Hey, this is how I feel ^_^ Only, I didn't give 100% effort on VP1. So it was more like 50% effort, 0% skill. The remaining percentages went into playing DDP and Dragon Blaze.

Yes I agree that it is not all about the music but if u had read read my whole post you would of realised I said "atmosphere" as well. In other words, (Without going into detail) a person will more likely be involved in what Darius has to offer then the nothingness (except simplicity) of Gunbird.

Fair point. I admit DG would be a more pleasing play than Gunbird, but I still think GB's simplicity is exactly what makes it ideal for a single week scoring comp.

Dunno how gunbird will have more of a level playing field then Darius considering that there is an entire second loop in gunbird for people like Icarus and Sikraiken to get score off.

I was under the impression that only first loop scores counted? Maybe I misread somewhere along the line. Not to mention that SiK and Icarus are going to dominate the scoring regardless.

We can't really judge this properly though unless both games were in the tournament.

Agreed. If anything I'd like to play DG and GB post-STGT. It looks like Gaiden is going to win anyway.
