If by "dead genre" you mean "vehicular combat" you'd be right, but everything else is pretty much flat-out wrong.

This got me thinking about our own list. Can someone post a link to the top 25 shmups that this board compiles each year? For the life of me it isn't showing up in a search.

notice how, in 2002, Soldier Blade was in 8th place, and then it never showed up on the list again.

Like I've said, There were a fair amount of Soldier Blade lovers few years ago here

but I thought the shot at DOJ was funny

had they used Battle Garegga, ESPGaluda, Ketsui, APB, etc.

I might have gotten pissed
