Those of you who are clued in with Japanese literature might have heard of the absolutely hilarious Moetan, a small book that "aims" to teach you good English with examples, but ends up being the perfect Engrishy disctionary instead
Well, for us shmuppers, we now have the shareware Moedan.
Looking like a very pink version of something the Shanghai Alice would come up with, this game aims to teach you about various bullet patterns and attacks, and is pretty fun. The full version (available to buy from Himeya) has an Extra Mode, which I assume is a jumped-up stupidly hard version for masters.
theres no xtra mode in full version, theres a free play mode, where u can combine 2 spell cards and paly them at once.... but thers no such thing like Extra Stage (or mode)....
now, moedan its what u say, a shmup trainer or somethin like that, but if you ask me, it doesnt come CLOSE to shanghai alice games ... i mean, since its just a practice mode (for me) and kinda lacks some story mode (even thou, every time u start a spell card, theres some kind conversation between some of the chars...) i think that game should come better as a xpansion pack or somethin for shanghai alice games, but not as a standalone game.
one more thing i hate about that one is that its DARN cute... well, actually, i dont know if i hate it or what, but dont like it (there are better cute'em ups like Gochamaze no Arashi SE)....
