A lot of stuff on IGN is fake. There's a Samurai Shodown game listed on there for Taito Type X.

I'm pretty sure there's a Type X2 Samurai Shodown game in development.

Tell me about it. Just a couple of days ago, I've tried out a code for "unlockable games" in the PS2 version of Taito Legends 2 and nothing happened. Needless to say, I won't be trusting them anymore for anything.

The code was for one of the Taito Memories games. I think it's a carry over from a mistake at gamefaqs (or maybe they were both carried over from another site).
