Hmm, maybe an older version (like .99) would have helped. :-/ You can still use something like Joy2Key for autofire otherwise.

is there any way to make an input file record
without the boot sector at the beginning?

Some games really do seem as though they are trying to make you fail... Take this one for instance... After struggling on the Stage 7 boss, I get there with 1 life and 1 bomb remaining. This boss has been a bastard to me all day and has literally sapped all confidence I had with this game. This last playthrough (probably my last for the week), I was feeling good until I got stuck in a corner. "Bomb dammit, BOMB!", I cried out. I pressed the bomb button and it released itself.

Guess what happens?

A sniper tank comes out right to the left and me and blasts my ship while I was paying attention to what was going on with the bomb. Boss dies, my ship dies, and the little sniper tank dies as well.

Yay Sniper tanks!

Sorry for the ultra-lame score, team :( I spent most of the week in the Swiss Alps without a chance to play (although I did find an arcade in Zürich and played some Varth there to orientate!). But... now I'm just too tired of getting killed by the second boss. I've only destroyed it twice. I could try to optimize my score before the boss, but then again, I could also get some sleep...

Thanks to Coop and #shmups guys for help and tips!

I had a really good run going that I thought would beat that but I fell so miserably short that I gave up and just took the snap there of my old one. The mil breaking one was the only one I managed to get 100% on stage 2.

Scores based on 100% kill rate are BS. Especially when 99% cuts the multiplier in half. Hey there Red Baron I think you missed a plane, way to let the Americans win ya dick.
