I don't think we should be asking whether or not this will be a shooter, we should ask if it will be cell-shaded!

Ok, seems I have to take back my prior statement. According to Danmakugata, the romanization is Illvelo (now that I look at the image again, I can see the v snuck in there... I originally thought they were doing something creative with having the belly of the b double as the letter e). I think it would have helped a bit had they written the title as: イルヴェロ

God damn, MileStone! You and your awkward-ass titles!

Loke test tomorrow at Club Sega in Shinjuku Nishiguchi & Akihabara. Might try to check it out.

You haven't been paying attention- apparently there are no more GD Roms = no more Dreamcast games.
I was being sarcastic...

What's this little thing?
Of course, that's just an opinion.

Sometimes they'll just use the b-line in the katakana table to represent "v" sounds.

On an unrelated note: What is it saying about a typhoon in the upper-right corner?

Probably something along the lines of "don't get killed by the Typhoon that's fucking up Japan right now".

I was Googling the katakana for Illvelo, and I think the actual name is Il Bello, which is Italian for "the beautiful one"

There are some Kanji letters in the back. I inverted the colors for better readability. Can someone make out what is standing there?

It says "What is this?"

but I'm more curious about the words on the right side.

And I sure all of had some kind of contact with them via e-mail questions/reports or suggestions.

(MOD EDIT: Changed long url to link because it was messing with the page formatting -Ghegs)

It says "*something**something*-totomoko." I don't know what that means (yet)...

yeah, and it's pretty smart strategy too! not only do they have us curious to the game they also manage to make us check out there page on a regular basis without them having even the slightest bit of information about the game on there.

if any japanese developer looks at this forum i'd say it's milestone. they also had pages with information in english about choasfield & radilgy while they were still only arcade / dc release with no talk about a release in the us. and at the same time they no english pages for their other, non-shmup games.

don't know if you still can but you could actually email them in english and get an actual reply to your question in english from them! so yeah, milestone might actually know about this forum.
warning: a huge warning sign is approaching fast!

Guys, it says "Taifuu to Tomo ni" (Along with the Typhoon). A massive Typhoon swept through Japan yesterday. It was raining balls. Mak JP even had a warning that they were shutting down early and might open late today. It's just an improv joke.

I freaked when I saw this. I surfed to the webpage last night, and as I moving my laptop I noticed that background image jump out if the LCD screen is angled up or down. That is one freaky affect!

If Milestone does read these forums then I'd like to say:

PLEASE PLEASE DO A BETTER JOB OF TESTING YOUR GAMES BEFORE RELEASE! ESPECIALLY TEST ALL OF THE OPTIONS IN YOUR PORTS TO MAKE SURE THEY WORK BEFORE RELEASE! THINGS LIKE SCORE SAVES AND BUTTON CONFIGS CAN DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT A PURCHASE IS MADE!

I'm done...

You forgot to say "Make sure they get released". I'm still trying to cope with the cancellation of Radio Allergy GC.

How funny that they call themselves "Milestone".

So let's recap: All the good shmup developers go out of business and a company like Milestone stays around. WTF! Everyone seriously needs to stop buying their games.

Dudes it seems that everybody is bashing Milestone Inc. for no reason, why would they put out a game if they didn't think it would be good?, also so what if they use cel-shaded graphics in their games, I don't see anyone else doing it. Milestone Inc. is awesome developer, me being a Dreamcast fan and collector I happy to own and play Chaos Field, Radirgy
and Karous and my japanese Dreamcast. MILESTONE INC. RULES! :D
