Shiki2 option question
I've been playing Shikigami No Shiro 2 (Jap version on the 'Cube) for a wee while now but there is one option that I don't get. When on the screen that lets you choose whether to play normal or easy mode there is a box between the 2 with an option that can be on or off. I have no idea what it is and I can't see any difference in the game! Can anybody enlighten me? Thanks folks!

I never really noticed that the story mode was switched off or on as I just automaticaly skipped it anyway! Being in Japanese I don't really see the point of watching the story unfold although I am curious to know the background of this game - I really do like it and would like to understand it a bit more!
Okay, sorry to revive an old thread, but I have to know this....I seem to have unlocked some Special Options in the game that can
1) Tweak the Game Speed....from 50-200%
2) Tweak the Bullet Speed....I think I saw something like 300%
3) Tweak Bullet Size....50% (actual Dot damage size) to 300% (makes the game Insane)
4) Tweak Extreme Mode Bullet Patterns (haven't really messed with this quite yet)
5) Tweak Hyper Shot range....dunno how much of an impact this has.
Anyway...does anyone know more about this and has anyone tried this...like it? Hate it?

The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

I'm trying to translate it, but it doesn't go anywhere for a long timePedro Lambrini wrote:I never really noticed that the story mode was switched off or on as I just automaticaly skipped it anyway! 1) its self xplanatory, it tweaks the game's speed, i use to put it at 150%
2) self xplanatory again, i put this one at 50% (yes, theres a max speed of 300%)
3) i put this one on 80% ... so, theres more space to navigate thru bullets... if you put it in 50%, u can nearly see bullets, and are gonna make LOTS of mistakes... so , 80% its ok with me.
4) havent tried it either...
5) this one makes the hipershot to be enabled at longer range from bullets (so u dont have to be scratchin bullets all of the time, since u enter the 8x zone pretty much earlier than b4)
i dont love it, but dont hate it either... its just a different way of playing the game, since this can make the game much easier or much harder (depending on how much u tweak the lil stuff here and there)...
... just my 2 cents...
