Need scans of Battle Garegga cabinet cards

Post by Gungriffon Geona »

I'm working on making a fairly accurate rendition of the Battle Garegga cabinet, and I was wondering if anyone had the stuff that went with the cabinet scanned or maybe pictures of the cabinet itself.

I have scans of the instruction cards, in a pretty high resolution (around 2500x3500 pixels, 4.5 Mb each). I can post them somewhere or mail them to you, if that's the kind of stuff you're looking for.

Speaking of this, I think the site from which I downloaded them died some years ago, but I also think that there was a mirror site provided by a member of THIS forum. Maybe this mirror is still available, and has some more pics ?

What is a Battle Garegga cabinet? Was there a US cabinet version with giant side art on some US woody? Cool! I want pictures please of the original product!

Well this attempt is going to be rather iffy, since I'm not sure what the cabinet actually looked like. there's no pictures of the cabinet itself that I've seen, which is very troublesome. without that it's hard to tell where anything goes on the cabinet.

there is no official battle garegga cabinet, all the artwork is designed for a generic japanese sitdown cab.

a dedicated garegga cab sounds pretty cool tho since the artwork is absoluteley smokin! :)

oh? then what did the standard cabinet used look like? I was thinking it was a stand-up cab rather than a sit-down one.

in japan a generic candy style cab (astro city proboably)

in europe it depends whatever generic jamma cabinet was popular in your country, in the nordic ones it was the danish manufactured JK that ruled the arcades.

well, I managed to get it done, though I did it in the style of a regular American stand-up cab.

Guess I should've mentioned I made it in Second Life at the start. >.>;
If you actually play SL it's in the Eon sim inside the Jet Set Radio garage.
