Holy shit 20 hrs?? 35hrs??

I only put about 6-8 hours of time into TBY to get my 4.4 mill score. Bioshock was just too good to bother playing anything else, and it didnt help that TBY sucked.

And yeah, the people voting for VP1 because they think they have a better chance in it are wrroooooooooooooooong. Just wait till you see the score gap difference for the people that can 100% up to stage 6 and the people that can only 100% the 2nd stage.

Also, the amount of people who won't see past stage 3 unless they have a really lucky day.

I also must mention that despite the fact I've been quite vocal on how this is the most retarded possible game for a score competition, and one of the most frustrating shooters ever, I do like it because its got in my opinion some of the best graphics in a shooter ever. Seriously the graphics in this game are just phenomenal, the Raiden Fighters series doesn't even come close, and neither does almost every other shooting game.

Im gonna vote for Viper, mostly since there's an arcade unit of it near here, so it's the only one I've actually played out of that group......

We'd have to delete the strategy board, and ban people who can read Japanese and people who own INH guides/discs.

On top of that, we have to clamp the autofire rate to the person with the lowest sustained manual autofire rate (me).

Am I the only one who's sick of people who are like "Yeah, it took me 4 hours to All TBY and get 5M points." I mean, I know I suck at shooters, but I don't need to be reminded by every... single... person... better than me =P

Especially when it just sounds like gloating. It grates my nerves for some reason.

There's a distinct difference between saying "WOo! I rock!" and saying "Wow... you guys fucking suck..." Macaws post came accross more as the later to me.

Here's an interesting and wacky question....

Which versions of MAME specifically will actually RUN these?

Raiden Fighters Jet, it looks like, is the one we'll be playing.

Naturally the MAME I have wont do it (siiiiiiigh), and I havent the foggiest idea where to get this "WolfMAME" I've never heard of before (please tell me it isnt one of the DOS ones).

Is there something else that'll run it? Preferrably something Windows based....

If not, I sit this week out.

I've run RFJ in MAME32 0.106 with no problems at all (aside from the initial update BS thingy...) Which version of MAME are you using?

I am using Mame .103 here, all Raiden Fighters game work (I noticed I have RFJ for ages and had actually never played it), VP1 also works flawless.

I voted VP1 because I was nostalgic about an arcade cabinet of it that used to be in a pizza shop here. Well that and because that's what my team decided we should all vote on. If it's a bad game then I'm ok with that. I signed up for this thing to play bad games.
