Probably screwed up (multiple?) screen modes on a regular television and fluid top and bottom borders... :x

Kinda wondering why you can't load up MAME and tell us what the differences are, heh heh...interested to know what the music is like and whether they've got messed up autofire options (doubt that, though).

Slightly OT, but I recently found out that the original Mahou Daisuken (sp?) is also on FM Towns. Unlike Tatsujin Ou, that also made it to the X68000, though. I wonder why Tatsujin Ou was only ported to FM Twons. Very odd.

Ya, its ashamed Truxton 2 never got ported to lets say the Sega CD. I absolutely never heard of the FM Towns Marty back in the early 90's. It wasnt until computer emulation that I learned what that computer was all about. I thought the Megadrive port of the first game was awesome.

Wow...i cannot remember any real differences between the two...but when i first saw this in the early nineties my jaw hit the ground!!..it was an amazing shooter!!...nothing like it on the MD & Famicom at that time.
But then the machine was mega bucks & discs hard to find & dear too!?.
I was dead envious over these...splatterhouse, Tatsujin Oh , Bubble bobble etc.., But times have changed & i now own the pcb's! :D
Great collectors piece tho for console enthusiasts.

PCB: Non-interlaced RGB
Marty Version: Interlaced S-video (blech)

Then there are some gameplay differences but I've not put enough time into either to judge them.
