Because the participation rate and esspecially the number of team increased. I had to alter the max point values and the tiers for the team's top 3 scores, but otherwise everything works still like last year.

The breakdown is only the score for your team points.
These are two seperate charts, they are not related to each other:
Team scores and Single player scores.

Yeah, breakdown is basically a chart where only the best 3 scores for each team count. The point values behind the player's show how much these position contributed to the team score this week. The player himself don't get or keep these points.

And in the most upper chart, the Team Ranking.
You can see the Top 3 scores in the brackets for each team, which are then accumulated to get this week's score for a team.

The Single Player Rankings are basically the "normal" tournament where everyone is on his own.

Looks a lot like last years chart so far. Outcomes in shmup competitions are much more predictable than those in the NFL or MLB.

Ouch, that's some serious error there. I'll fix that now.

I guess this happened because I couldn't do many updates this week, meaning I had to make a biiig update everytime, this increasing the chance of making mistakes...

But, next week I'll be back to normal. And will follow the STGT with more attention, like last year. Sorry, for the sloppyness so far.

If I was with oldschoolers, we would have 103 points and would be in 6th. Not a lot better.

The problem is not I leaving the team, but the fact we have more top teams this year. Last year there were clearly 3 top teams (Team Sweden, Turbo Team and Namako), and we finished in 4th place, the best placed team "around the mortals"

. Our difference to Team Sweden was huge if I remember correctly, and we had the benefit of Star Force (And amazingly, EVEN THAT WEEK was won by Namako Team, even though we had both 1st and 2nd place for the week)

This year we have 5 top teams, and I bet we will have a better competition for the "best place around the losers"

. I even believe the difference between Namako Team and the 2nd place will be smaller than last year.

I feel like this is Formula-1, and Namakoteam is the McLaren of 1988

Our team isn't a whole lot different (missing Nemo, for one, who is pretty damn good despite 50% participation), but 1 less week will definitely close the gap a bit.
