Triggerheart Exelica on Xbox Live?
Nice although a strange choice
Under Defeat would have been a better choice imho...btw, what the fuck happened to XBLA-Ikaruga?

Is this what the japanese text says? They probably up the resolution, put some antialising on it and add/enhance some of the effects - my guess.

Well, certainly not US XBLA games at any rate. I guess given the status of the console in Japan, the Japanese get carte blanche to do whatever they want with it (you know, anything to garner possible support).nZero wrote:I thought XBLA games couldn't have TATE?
Wonder if someone'll put out a CD for the arranged soundtrack.
As for the Arrange OST, it was included on the soundtrack CD that came with the DC LE version of the game.
Yes, I've got that. I'll expand my question. Will they use the same arrangements for the XBLA game as for the DC version Arrange Mode? If not, will they put out a CD for the XBLA re-arranged soundtrack?Kiken wrote:As for the Arrange OST, it was included on the soundtrack CD that came with the DC LE version of the game.

I would assume that it's just the same as the Arrange Mode from the DC version (I don't think they'd spend a lot of time working on this conversion if it's just going to be on XBLA). I guess we'll have to wait and see for confirmation.nZero wrote:Yes, I've got that. I'll expand my question. Will they use the same arrangements for the XBLA game as for the DC version Arrange Mode? Some actual screenshots in here, tate option confirmed.

Looks good! Looking at the screenshots it seems they did exactly what I thought they'd do...smoothing out the jaggies a little bit. Guess the reason for Tate possibility in Japan is that it's far less likely to get sued by some jerk in case somebody wrecks his display. Would be nice to see the Tate option on European XBLA.

Nope. You have to get Japanese points to buy games on a Japanese Xbox Live account.hermosaguy wrote:I have a Japanese 360...would the Microsoft points for a U.S. card work to purchase the game if I set my regional settings to Japanese?
If the game only comes out for XBLA Jpn (which I doubt), you could buy Japanese points, then create a Japanese Xbox Live account to buy the game. Once the game has been bought from an account, the game should also be unlocked for every account on that box.
The only downside is if you have to change your 360, the game will now only be unlocked for the account you bought it with.

I have a U.S. account on my Japanese 360. So would I need a Japanese Live account, or just purchase Japanese points for it?genetik wrote:Nope. You will need a JP Xbox Live Gamertag in order to access content on the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace; switching the regional settings on your existing US account won't do anything, as the locale settings (ie- physical mailing address information, I believe) used for your hotmail account (which in turn, was used to create your gamertag or vice versa) ultimately determine which region of Xbox Live your gamertag will be in. You will then have to find a way to put Microsoft Points onto that account in order to purchase anything from there.
I heard that Microsoft Point cards in the US are incompatible with JP accounts, and Play-Asia said that the cards that they sell won't work on them either, so you're going to have to find a way to purchase Microsoft Point cards from Japan. Or find someone in Japan who's willing to let you use their credit card.

Thank you! I just created a silver account so and am seeing Zegapain and other Japanese titles, so I'm going to see if I can use my cc for a gold account.dai jou bu wrote:You will need a JP Xbox Live Gamertag in order to access content on the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace; switching the regional settings on your existing US account won't do anything, as the locale settings (ie- physical mailing address information, I believe) used for your hotmail account (which in turn, was used to create your gamertag or vice versa) ultimately determine which region of Xbox Live your gamertag will be in. EDIT: Crap! No love, I need a Japanese structured address to go with my supposed Japanese credit card.

It worked to get me on the network so I can see and download stuff, but when I enter my CC info and get to the billing address page, a pizza hut location wouldn't let my card go through.Zebra Airforce wrote:I used the address of a pizza hut in japan. Why don't you just look up a random address?

Partnernet is such a tease like that...you get the same prob with Ikaruga also?kemical wrote:TriggerHeart Exelica is showing up on my devkit at work (360 devkits can create test accounts that have access to other things on live), so maybe this means a US release will happen, it has an english description and the rating is at rating pending.
There are 12 achievements with 200 points total.. kind of neat, a no miss clear, no bomb clear, hard mode clear "complete the entire game at the highest difficulty level and without using continue." and perfect play "complete the entire game at normal difficulty or higher without dying and destroy all boss forms."
I downloaded the trial and full version, but may have to change some language stuff on the devkit for them to work, they boot to a blank screen after showing a splash screen..
Triggerheart doesn't work, I thought I'd be able to run the game after switching the region but it isn't working, it almost seems like it doesn't download the whole thing, jumping from 1% to 100% after a short amount of time. (The total size is 69mb)
