Hey, it worked for VOOT. Besides, all of Senko's potential hasn't been tapped yet.Kiken wrote:Hopefully it's not another upgrade to Senko No Ronde.
I'm guessing their new game is going to be a Visual Novel based on the Senko no Ronde drama CD and you can visit an arcade there where there's a location test for their real game which also explains to the player that they just released this visual novel so they can get the money to develop it.

Info about the new G.Rev game came from am-net site, don't think I can translate the title, well it's Naomi game scheduled for this year's winter anyway.

And it's a gamble since platformers don't make that much money anymore in arcades (unless you can prove me wrong).nem wrote:No, cartridge. Dynamite Deka EX wasn't released all that long ago as a Naomi cart.D wrote:Naomi![]()
Naomi cd rom then? instead of GD rom. Which supposedly isn't made anymore.
Man, a platformer could kick all kinds of ass.

Yep. Same deal with Exzeal. I'm pretty sure we can assume that this is NAOMI cart.nem wrote:No, cartridge. Dynamite Deka EX wasn't released all that long ago as a Naomi cart.D wrote:Naomi![]()

And for the last time, folks, Sega specifically stated that any official software released for the GD-ROM drive unit will be in GD-ROM format. There will never be an officially released CD-ROM game for either NAOMI or DC. A small company like MileStone, G-Rev or Triangle Service is still an official company and will head Sega's release guidelines.

Actually, the way I understand it, Garuchi is a new developer that will work with G.rev on this title, and the game's name will be this:
まもるクンは呪われてしまった!
Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta!
But but but I could be totally wrong, so GP get in here quick and tell us what's up!
edit: oh well, CIT beat me to it

You're right about the title, and no there are no better quality scans, these are from http://www.kobayan.jp/ site btw, scroll down a bit to see.CIT wrote:
No, the game is called "Mamoru-kun ha norowareteshimatta!" (Momoru-kun has been cursed), as EOJ said.
"Garuchi" is apparently the name of the co-developer. Nobody's ever heard of them. Is there a clean scan of the article? Then I coud translate it.

So can we just start calling this "Mamoru-kun"?
