STGT 2k7- Week #1 Twin Bee Yahhoo!
Bell juggling the opening clouds without autofire was really really annoying.
You can't really change them fast enough, so you end up with this mess of bells just bouncing around way too long.
Note to self: either compile a version of SDLMame with autofire, or figure out what each setting corresponds to in Hz and program up an autofire circuit.

psssst, let me brag about my red/pink bells skills!
I felt so gay. Only red and pink, yeah.
And for the sidearms, I had a flame-thrower at one hand, and a mega-bomb at the other hand. Deadly combination
I'd prefer to make as much points as I could earlier, so maxing out power ups for me would mean that points I could get earlier were lost to try to get more points later, that I would miss anyway.
Though I had been 1-lifing the game up until level 4, so changing the tactics would make sense.
Well, whatever. It's all gone now.

You do realize that they change every 5 shots, right?zakk wrote:Bell juggling the opening clouds without autofire was really really annoying.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU DO IT!?
It wasn't like people were that far away from the score I ended up with. : DTwiddle wrote:Sure, as soon as we make a "games that sikraiken won't actually be good at" thread
Ah, yeah I forgot to ask you for the correct amount.viniciusvbf wrote:oopsviniciusvbf wrote:MY AMAZING SCORE IS NOT ON THE TABLE!!!viniciusvbf wrote:viniciusvbf - Pelé Shooting Team - 1,7139,150 - Stage 4![]()

Still, amazing score!

Offcourse I'll edit it, as you just mistyped your score.

@Shatterhand:
Thanks for the offer, I already have a Exel file which I use for the calculation of the scores. But sorting out the best 3 players manually and summarizing their points for the team scores manually is taking to long.
I could probably enhance it a bit by myself. But I don't know how to tell Excel to choose the best 3 scores from each team? I have an extra culumn for the Team, offcourse. I'll send you the file after I finished the rest of the rankings.

You highlight everything, go to data -> sort.Edge wrote:Ah, yeah I forgot to ask you for the correct amount.viniciusvbf wrote:oopsviniciusvbf wrote: MY AMAZING SCORE IS NOT ON THE TABLE!!!![]()

Sort ascending/descending (doesn't matter in this case I think) by the team column.
That should group all the scores together by team.
They should be in order from top score to worst score per team if you already have the scores in order.

Goddamn, I don't think we are in such a confortable situation against oldschoolers as I first thought after seeing the final scores chart. It's going to be close.
You're ahead of me by four places, I'm ahead of coffeejoerx by five places, Turrican is ahead of coffeejoerx by three places, and both teams' third placers are on top of each other.
...
Ew.
Both teams foruth placers are alson on top of each other, heh

I have been doing it this way until now, but with a list that big I'd rather have an application taking care of that and automatically calculate the teampoints for each player.shoe-sama wrote: You highlight everything, go to data -> sort.

that was SO FUCKING OBVIOUS... I had to do a quick right-left-right dodge there... goddamn, why I hadn't noticed that ?

Apparently there is no Michael in 3 or 4. IIRC in 5 he is just before the Knight boss, on a pillar in the centre of the screen (you must use ground bombs/charge bomb to reveal him). It's just where there's two rows of ground enemies vertically either side of the screen. Maybe someone could oblige with a screen?Tempest wrote:Would someone be a dear and tell me where is Michael in stages 3-5?

It can be done quickly if I import the Excel file into SQL Server.Edge wrote:But sorting out the best 3 players manually and summarizing their points for the team scores manually is taking to long.

Seriously, though, the offer's on the table. But if you work out a good way to do it yourself in Excel, that's cool too.
