Getting to stage 5 in this game is no joke. It took me months of practice before I could do it consistently, and even then it felt like a triumph each time.

took a few games to get anywhere even close to 20 mil again, stopped at this:

japtor - 19,194,500 A-E - 1-4 - 476 Hit

doubt ill be hitting 5 any time soon. took around 5 months to get to 5 semi consistently in ketsui, course that was interspersed with another board or two in the cab rotation a few weeks at a time.

My #2 and #3 scores got to stage 4, but my best scoring game ended on stage 3. Go figure. Must have been some lucky chaining.

yeeeah, xipe's been at the top of my HS table of DOJ since it was released (we played it like crazy for one night

) and now i FINALLY beat him.. hehe its always been nagging away at me that I wasent the one ontop of my own HS board.. but now i finally am.

after a loooong break i played this again this weekend and found the game more fun than i used to. maybe i'll try to play with A-L this time, you get more bombs but also it seems easier to combo because you often leave small tanks half-destroyed. what's nice is that it didn't take me too much time to remember the few combos i knew.
i didn't beat my old score so here it is anyway, since this thread could use some activity

By the way, do you accept scores for Death Label?

Here's what I just got for DL:
gs68 - 340,894,420 - A-S - Stage 5 - 18

And yeah, I "cheated," I took advantage of Shotia's 6-bomb stock and her laser bombs' ability to damage the bosses. (Leinyan's laser bombs actually heal the bosses.)
