Apparently, the rubber grommet for the d-pad controls on my USB Saturn pad has broken. The rubber around the "Left" contact point has decided to tear and let the contact rattle around inside the pad.
If anyone has a genuine Saturn pad and could post pictures of the internals I would be greatly appreciative. I'm wondering if I can either A.) Buy a genuine Saturn pad and swap the grommet B.) Buy a genuine Saturn pad and swap the PCB or, as a last resort C.) Glue the contact points onto the d-pad actuator itself and remove the rest of the grommet completely.
I wouldn't be concerned, but damn, it's a USB Saturn pad, and it ain't like they're growing on trees.
USB Saturn Pad problem
Same thing happened to one of my Ascii FT pads back in the day. The Saturn style wide travel d-pad really puts some force on the rubber underneath.Damocles wrote:Apparently, the rubber grommet for the d-pad controls on my USB Saturn pad has broken.
