Anyone looking for a survival path (you know, those who play games "ignoring score") would have to keep in mind what weapon pods they have.

You have to do so regardless for Shooting Star v.2

I think they can be shot and destroyed.
Or, you can also just stay aside from the bridge...

That doesn't seem necessary, because bells don't all start at 0, but from anywhere between 0 and 25.

I'm not sure I understood...0-25, you were talking of shots numbers ?

I know you know I was kidding, but you had an easy reply for that provocation.

I believe last year The Coop beat me EVERY week. He was 4th in the individual user table, while I was 25th :)

Even on the Star Force week, where I thought I would anihilate every score, he managed to beat me, and I had to settle for 2nd place.

But yeah, replying the provocation with SCORES is way better. But you still haven't touched mine, HAH HAH HAH :)

Sqirrel - lets destroy STGT07 - 732410 - Stage 2

Gah, I can't seem to keep a good chain of bells, and when I try too hard, I end up dying.

DJ Incompetent wrote:But from what you describe...you sound like you want a highlight reel. For I would mix together clips of everything recorded during this tournament (in Rob/Pirate1019's form) while labeling the content provided, his rankings, team, etc. That'd be kinda cool. We'll see how much content the people put out. I would prefer up-front if everybody who records does it on highest quality and keeps their best-quality master files of all weeks so things could be arranged later if this were to be done...

shit-runs and elite-runs all qualify. I can work with all :)
Since my computer has no hard drive space and not enough RAM to run a capture setup and the game at full speed, would it be alright if I was to make .inp's of my runs and then have somebody else (you?) put those into video form? When I've got a free hour I'll dig around and test some stuff to see if I can get raw video, but it'll probably be too small/too low a quality to be useable.

On the Twinbee matter: The extends help immensely but I'm having trouble with stage 4. I'm thinking I might just have to give up on clearing it consistently and work on refining my tactics on the first three stages insted.

I did better, but I think I am done at this game. Level 3 gets pretty crazy and I know its way beyond my ability. Whenever the stage starts taking off and my guy gets lost... yeah.

Squirrel - lets destroy STGT07 - 995920 - Stage 3

I don't know how you guys can keep track of that game... and unfortunately I am out of time to play it. I'll be gone all weekend, Ozzfest is Friday, and we're starting to party tonight, going to ozzfest, then continuing on throughout the weekend.

Pretty nice scores so far, DJI. And interesting Babel-German phrases.

I couldn't play this game much yet. And when I had some freetime yesterday, I gave it some shots and couldn't really get into it. ...yet. But I am not giving up so soon. I was actually hoping to invest some time during the weekend but now I am having a date on Saturday and on Sunday I am going to the Games Convention. But I'll try to fit some games of Twin Bee in between there.

up!

MA7 - Team Lurker - 2,184,110 - Stage 4 - MAME

Level 4's not quite so bad to get through with a bit of practice. I can survive most it pretty well now.

Tweedledum/Tweedledee give it to me hard.

Still no sign of Michael on level 4 :(

Precisely what I did, only I stumbled on him, can't remember where the life of me where I got him ( like I would say here anyway  )

G19 - Underdogs - 2,656,100 - Stage 5 - Mame (Xbox)

I find stage 3 the hardest, I always lose my two extends somewhere in that mess. Without finding Michael in 5 I would have been a goner for sure.

getting better at survival and can get to stage 4 regularly now but scoring is completely random for me (partly from lack of understanding but mostly from poor bell juggling skils) and i can't beat this score from a few days ago:

msm - Underdogs - 1'105'700 - 3

great scores fellow underdogs g19 and infintium :D

My teammates are prohibited of dating anyone during gaming weeks. They also should try to skip work as much as they can, if possible they should go on vacation or quit their jobs.

Edge, you are TURNING YOUR BACK on your team, you should be ASHAMED of yourself

:D

I actually was with my girlfriend today, so no TBY for me today. I am fucking tired now, and tomorrow I´ll go to work like a zombie, heh :)

It's either:

✔ Score a fuckton of points
✘ Make stupid mistakes and fail the run

OR

✔ ALL Clear the game
✘ Get a much lower score than what I'm trying to get

Why the hell does it always have to be ✔✘?
Why can't it be ✔✔ for a change? >_<

Day off work tomorrow. Going to work on a big backlog of scanlation projects, then put in a good session on TBY.
