I guess all Neo29s arent created equal. I know there are at least 3 variants so this is understandable.
and you actually can "blow up" a Jamma PCB if connected to the MVS JAMMA wiring on a Neo 29. I blew a capacitor (it actually exploded) on my Outzone board because of this and almost broke amps on my other boards (they get extremely over loaded and burn up if you leave em on to long).
Just giving a heads up cause it has happened to me. Make sure you check the connections to know if its MVS or JAMMA.
For arcade operation MVS is fine, but for home use changing the cart is not a 25 minute chore, it takes 25 seconds at most. I would only use a proper MVS multi slot if I had two or three other dedicated Jamma cabs.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
