Sounds like you guys are having fun. Good, good. ^_-
Shame I couldn't make it. Would have loved to have met up with everyone again.
Perhaps we should make another big one next year, same time perhaps?

Just got back in at the states. Had a great time in London! Had no computer access or mobile access in London, so now I am finally able to address people out of the arcade.

Great meeting all ya guys, LUN, BR1, JCK, and DEL, had a blast!

Had my first go at Ketsui during this trip, and I must say it is an awesome game. Definitely my favorite from Cave as of now. Hopefully I will be able to make it out another time, but chances are low as of now. Hope to see ya guys another time. Cheers!

Definitely another great time in London. It's great to have a point of reference like the Casino, where people could pop up at any moment so you can enjoy some good time with them even out of the gaming field.
Thanks to everyone again, we missed Masamune a bit, but see you next time! :D

This one has been my first international meeting and it will not be the last one! I had great time with everyone and the Casino atmosphere is something magic.
Thanks everyone.

By the way, London is a great city and there are a lot of Starbucks

Sorry just had too. Starbucks suck... ;)

Seems like you had a good time though... which makes me feel more sorry for not being able to attend. :(
Still I am coming to London (and thus Casino) this fall so I hope to see some of you there.

a visual replay of you tapping away on your modified keyboard whilst playing is what i (and probably everyone else on this thread) wanna see. then once youve master 2loop, a replay of that would be insane. try and do it like the RAIDEN 3 Insanity dvd (split screen) on YouTube would be cool.

lol why not if people ask for it ~.~

It's not a modified keyboard though, just a high quality gaming keyboard.
Before that, I used to play on a regular keyboard and it played fine, the gaming keyboard only makes a little difference.
Also there's nothing very impressive to see, my hands don't really move much at all... I mean I basically have my fingers on WASD and J K for shot and bomb, only my left middle finger moves from W to S.

I have this sega virtua stick high grade that I bought but after having tried the stick on the Ketsui cab in London I think mine is bad (much too long throw and doesn't come back to origin fast enough) so I won't play with it anymore. Maybe if I can try and buy a better stick later I will switch to sticks... MAYBE ^_^

Yeah, you should definitely try a good Seimitsu. The Sanwa on the Ketsui cab was good, but not enough (I have a Sanwa stick to play Third Strike though) :P

^Speaking of which, LUNardei kindly donated a Sanwa for use in the arcade. I'll get Bob to fit it in a decent cab. Many Thanks!

Yeah, Mr. Hong Kong disappeared suddendly just like Elbarto :D
Hope he's lurking, at least. Another shmups.com lurker we found out at the Casino is a KOF player that had a few matches against my cheap Chun Li too. He owns a Progear pcb!

Future london meets should ideally happen during the same month/weekend as ATEI trade show. would make a better meet for the european shumpers. obviously that wont happen now with next show in late january 2008. chances are there wont be any shumps (maybe RAIDEN4) but at least it would a fun day free testing the 2008 arcade releases. when is Preview 2008 show at Novotel/Hammersmith. its usually around october isnt it?

^Last year the Novotel Preview was on October 11th & 12th.

The ATEI suggestion makes a lot of sense Mills :D !
Its a fun event (even if its only for the quality red wine and hot dogs in the German Casino section  ). An ATEI/London Meet combo should be the plan.

So...until January..

It can be combo'ed with my birthday too!

Sounds not bad at all! Let's see what the majority of people think. Next meet should be a big one like the other ;)
