Shmup levels in non-shmup games

Even though nowadays video game companies prefer to create other genres of games, they sometimes sneak in some shmup levels into some of their games, so the whole genre is still in the hearts of proffesional game makers.

I'd like to know all of the games that have at least one shmup level so why not tell your favorite non-shmup game with at least one level that's a shmup.

My fav would have to be MegaMan 8. I think it's in Tengu Man's stage that you have to get on rush to travel towards Tengu mans ship and along the way, you gotta shoot the enemies. The reason why this is my fav is cuz of your "options" which besides Rush includes Beat, Eddie, and Auto. I also like the inertia feeling of the movement.

The absolute best three ones you'll likely find are the ones in Turrican II for Amiga.

I vaguely remember a ye olde topic about this from way back when...do any of the other mods know where it's gotten to?

Jade Empire is the only one that springs to mind, but that's mainly because I'm playing it at the moment and have a terrible memory.

Metal Slug 3 has several. Both horizontal and vertical-scrolling.
