Calling All Egret 2 owners

Post by gunbird18 »

Hello,

I have a simple/silly question for you. I know there was a degausse button that was highly visible on the original Egret cabs. Is there a simple degausse button on the Egret 2s or is it up on the chassis somewhere? On the test board behind the coin mech door there is the Service button, Test button, Mono/Stereo toggle, and AC outlet, but that is it. I am entirely lost on this.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

According to this site http://www.zax.com.au/egret2.html the degauss button for the Egret2 is also behind the coin door, with the service switches.

And man.. you have an Egret 2? ::jealous:: :P

no....autodegauss @switch-on
If u still have problems buy a manual degauss coil @ EXC for ~5$
I use this on some of my cab's and it's working fine

Okay! Thanks guys!

I thought it may be an automatic thing since it switches from 15/24khz automatically as well. Now, just hope I can make this thing playable with a chassis swap. Wish me luck!
